Membership Information

Active LMTA membership is required to join Women in Motion–Louisiana. Membership dues are assessed per individual, not per company, and are based on your company’s LMTA membership category.

Eligibility is determined by your company’s LMTA membership status. Questions regarding membership affiliation may be directed to lmta@lmta.la.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As 2026 marks our inaugural year, Women in Motion–Louisiana will focus on expanding our membership and strengthening meaningful connections among women across LMTA.

In addition to membership growth, WIM-LA will lead educational initiatives centered on Artificial Intelligence (also known as AI) and its growing impact on our industry. This includes exploring advancements, practical applications, cybersecurity considerations, and implementation strategies tailored to transportation professionals. An in-depth AI presentation is planned for this summer at the LMTA Annual Conference.

The AI survey is now open to all members of the trucking community—not just WIM-LA participants. We encourage everyone to share their input to help guide this important conversation and ensure we address end-to-end questions and insights from across the industry. The survey can be taken here, or by using the "Take AI Survey" button.

Survey closes March 30, 2026.
