The Louisiana Motor Transport Association (LMTA) invites you to Ride Free at our 2025 Annual Convention, taking place July 31 – August 2 at the beautiful Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama.
This year’s biker-inspired theme celebrates the freedom, grit, and independence that define Louisiana’s trucking industry. Join fellow industry leaders, safety professionals, and policymakers for a weekend of high-impact discussions, relaxed networking, and coastal fun. From policy sessions to beachside receptions, this convention is your chance to refuel, reconnect, and ride into the future of trucking—together.
2025 Bill Clark Memorial Golf Tournament
Thursday, July 31 | 8:00 AM
Join us for a great day on the green ahead of the 2025 LMTA Annual Convention! The Bill Clark Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Thursday morning at the beautiful Cotton Creek Course at Craft Farms in Gulf Shores.
Breakfast and lunch are included, along with exciting chances to win door prizes and compete in specialty contests—including the $50,000 Shoot Out, Longest Drive, and Closest to the Pin competitions.
This tournament is a fundraising event for LMTA, organized by Tournament Director Tim Ordoyne and Jamie Satawa.

While LMTA members are in Friday morning’s general session, spouses, family members, and guests are invited to set sail on a relaxing catamaran cruise aboard Wild Hearts. This private, two-hour outing is a perfect way to enjoy the beautiful Alabama Gulf Coast and take in the fresh sea breeze.
Whether you're traveling with a spouse, friend, or the whole family, this extra-ticketed event offers a scenic and peaceful start to the day. The Wild Hearts vessel accommodates up to 49 passengers, creating a laid-back and intimate experience for all ages.
