Wreaths Across America

Help us sponsor 100 wreaths around the state!

This holiday season the LMTA is supporting Wreaths Across America with the goal of bringing 100 wreaths to all five wreath-laying ceremonies across Louisiana. By sponsoring these programs, we will ensure that fallen heroes are honored for their service this holiday season.

Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 2,500 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad. Through this program and coordinated ceremonies, Wreaths Across America mission is to "REMEMBER fallen U.S. veterans, HONOR those who serve, and TEACH children the value of freedom." This year's National Wreaths Across America Day is December 18, 2021, with five ceremonies scheduled in Louisiana.

  • Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Jennings, LA
  • Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Leesville, LA
  • Vidalia Cemetery, Vidalia, LA
  • Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary, LA
  • Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA

All money collected will directly sponsor wreaths in the name of LMTA to be laid at a Louisiana site. The cost to sponsor a wreath is $15. Each wreath is hand-crafted of all-American balsam and hand-tied with a red velvet bow in Columbia Falls, Maine.
